The Cake Bake Shop Construction with Signs From May 24th, 2024 at Walt Disney World

Hi everyone!

The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers at Disney’s BoardWalk is a step closer to completion, with the addition of signage on the front! I walked past the upcoming bake shop and restaurant yesterday for photos.

Originally, The Cake Bake Shop was slated for a 2023 opening and then an early 2024 opening. It is nice to see the location now almost ready for guests.

The Cake Bake Shop will have both savory and sweet items on the menu, but Gwendolyn Rogers is especially known for handmade cakes as well as other sweets including cookies and macarons.

There are two signs that have been added to the building.

The Cake Bake Shop logo is in gold.

There will also be an afternoon tea service when The Cake Bake Shop opens. That is something that has been missing from Walt Disney World property for a number of years. And there will be breakfast, lunch, brunch, cocktails and more (according to Disney).

In addition to the table service restaurant, there will be a quick-service bakery. This will be the place to go on Disney’s BoardWalk for amazing treats.
