9/21 Locating Characters at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party – Mickey & Minnie, Gaston, More!

I’ve previously posted 250 photos of the first Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party from 2011, as well as an article with tips on enjoying the Party. I get asked more about character meet & greets than anything else, so I thought I’d share character photos from the Party (we’ll have video in the next couple of days too!)

A few of these photos have been used in the previous articles, but most haven’t.

Jack Sparrow draws long lines in Adventureland:

Duffy the Disney Bear is next to City Hall, dressed in his pumpkin outfit. Cast Members the first night kept telling us that Duffy was at Epcot, not the Magic Kingdom. Friends eventually found him, but we were too late. We did get photos with him on our second Party night! Duffy seems to have the shortest lines of anyone.

Mickey and Minnie dress in two different oufits each again this year. We met them in their purple attire, but a friend showed us photos of them dressed in their Pirate and Princess outfits. This year marks their first time in their new Town Square Theater location for the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (previously they were in Mickey’s Toontown Fair).

Every Party has wonderfully attired guests. This was the only way we could meet Jack and Sally! (Disneyland does have both Jack Skellington and Sally walk-around characters)

Donald Duck and Daisy greet guests in Fantasyland. We also saw Donald here in his pumpkin costume:

The princess meet & greet is one of the busiest. We got in line before the Party officially started, and waited about a half hour. During the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, the princesses meet with their princes.

This is a character you rarely see in the parks – Gaston from Beauty and the Beast at the Hub:

There are other characters greeting here as well, including Lady Tremaine, Drizella and Anastasia:

And Piglet, Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore greet guests in Town Square:

I didn’t get too close to them, but I did get this photo of Piglet during Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade:

After the second parade, crowds thin out:

We went to see the Villains Mix & Mingle, waiting to mingle with the characters afterward. We only met Dr. Facilier and The Red Queen, but I took photos of the other characters as well. We have video of the Villains Mix & Mingle Show!
