Blue Bayou Restaurant to Serve Alcohol at Disneyland

Hi everyone!

The Blue Bayou restaurant at Disneyland will serve alcohol when it opens later this year. This will be the third location at the park to do so, following the private Club 33 and more recently Oga’s Cantina in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

The Blue Bayou will not open with the park on April 30th, 2021 but Disneyland will share the date as soon as it can. When the restaurant does open, the additional beverages will “compliment the menu and theme of the restaurant”. Wine, beer and a specialty Hurricane cocktail will be included. There will be a new celebration sparkling wine package. Seasonal takes on the Mint Julep non-alcoholic beverage will also be offered. Disney says that “The enhanced offerings fit right in with the story and spirit of the Blue Bayou” and reflect requests from guests.

Disney will announce more at a later date. I look forward to dining at the Blue Bayou restaurant again when we are able to visit Disneyland. When Disneyland reopens, it will be for California residents only as per the state guidelines.

The Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World has been offering alcohol at table service restaurants for almost 10 years now (starting with Be Our Guest Restaurant in 2012) and Disneyland Paris also offers beer and wine in the main park.
