Toy Story Hotel at Tokyo Disney Resort Concept Art Revealed, Hotel Opening in 2021

The Tokyo Disney Resort announced that its upcoming Toy Story-themed hotel will be called Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel. The new hotel is scheduled to open in 2021!  It will have 595 guest rooms on 11 floors. The Disney Parks Blog says that “the hotel’s exterior, entrance, lobby and other areas will bring to life the world of toys based on the Academy Award-winning Disney and Pixar “Toy Story” films.”

While this will be the fifth Disney hotel to open in Japan, it will be the first classified as a moderate type Disney hotel in the country – a new classification between deluxe and value.

The official press release says of the upcoming hotel, “With this new hotel and the opening of the new themed port, Fantasy Springs, in Tokyo DisneySea, Tokyo Disney Resort® will be able to meet the needs of even more guests and make their stay a richer experience as the Resort continues to grow and evolve.”

The hotel is situated directly in front of Bayside Station on the Disney Resort Line, providing guests easy access to both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea Parks.
