12/26 – Return of Polynesian Resort Torch Lighting (not with Kaleo), WDW Treehouses

Hi everyone!

The Polynesian Resort re-started it's torch lighting ceremony on Friday, 12/26.  I was there to take photos of the gingerbread houses, and asked about Kaleo.   He is not back, and I will write to Disney in support of him.   Lipoa, another Polynesian Resort entertainer, did the hosting. 

I took a few photos of the ceremony, and then recorded it.   That recording is on JeffLangeDVD.com!

 

 

Lipoa was very good, but it isn't the same without Kaleo.    You can see the last day for Kaleo from December 13th here! 

I have many Saratoga Springs treehouse photos also – some from walking on the path that leads from Saratoga Springs to Old Key West, and the others from the boat that runs between Downtown Disney and Port Orleans.   You can also see video here!   The treehouses look most finished as they get towards Downtown Disney.   Some are barely started, those are closer to the Port Orleans resorts.   You can see on the golf course sign that Disney has not removed the Fairway Villas line:
