Review: Chip & Dale’s Christmas Tree Spree Scavenger Hunt at Epcot During Festival of the Holidays, With Few Spoilers

Hi everyone!

During Epcot Festival of the Holidays this year (formerly Holidays Around the World), there is a new scavenger hunt called Chip & Dale’s Christmas Tree Spree. We have taken part in most of the different scavenger hunts since Walt Disney World added them to events a few years back, they are inexpensive (this was $6.99 plus tax, no discounts). We do pay for the experience, and the prize this time around was really cute – there are three different ones that are very similar and I will show those at the end.

I said in the title that there are few spoilers here. I do show the front of a couple of pavilion shops we went to and what a few of the wreaths look like. I do not show their placement/location in the pavilion though the photo in Mexico will make it easier to find. It will help to know what the wreaths look like, because that is what you are looking for – wreaths with ornaments. They are not lit up, so it took a while for me to acclimate to finding them. After a few pavilions, it got much easier. All are inside. And look for signs for the map purchasing and redemption locations, there are several including the International Gateway.

If enough readers want a spoiler filled version, I can do that too.

Epcot Festival of the Holidays lasts through December 30th, 2017.

Here is the map that we purchased. It gives you information on the hunt. Mostly, the important thing is to look for wreaths.

Chip and Dale are on the stickers, representing each country that corresponds with an ornament in the wreath.

First, we are heading to Mexico. I am showing 3 wreaths total.

Mexico was the probably the second hardest pavilion for me, because it’s darker and so many decorations are lit up. The wreath has Dale, and you can see that the wreaths are themed to the location.

Next we went to China.

Dale is on this wreath, again themed to the location.

I am not showing the Germany store that this one is in, because there are a number of shops in to choose from. Chip and Dale hold a bear and nutcrackers are on the wreath.

Now that I have shared what the wreaths look like – there are eleven total to find, here is a look at a couple of the prize sets. There are three of them. These are buttons, with all three of the packs having the Chip & Dale Christmas Tree Spree button, and other buttons are in the pack as well. None of the packs are all exclusive buttons, you can find some of the same buttons in more than one pack. So if you want all three sets, you will have duplicate buttons.

This is really a fun way to spend an hour or so, I highly recommend it! For the price, it is an inexpensive game with a cute prize.

And check out Stitch on the way out of Epcot, with his new holiday cap (many of the topiaries have them this year).

Have fun during Epcot Festival of the Holidays!
