Kristoff Makes First Public Appearance at “Frozen Summer Fun” Event, Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Photos, Video)

HHi everyone!

We are halfway through the first day of the Frozen Summer Fun event at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and it has been a really terrific experience. One of the highlights for guests has been the first public appearance of Kristoff in the parks! Frozen Summer Fun runs through September 1st, 2014.

Tomorrow we will have much more from the Frozen Summer Fun – we still have the fireworks and dessert party left to go (we are on the Frozen Premium Package, which has been very worth it). Our coverage tomorrow will include a Frozen Premium Package review!

Guests have been a little confused about where the For the First Time in Forever, a “Frozen” Sing-Along Celebration is – the show is in the Premiere Theater and it does include Kristoff!

Anna and Elsa Royal Welcome has some aspects of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, including these ice skaters.

Anna and Elsa arrive in a horse-drawn sleigh.

The skiers from Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party are also part of the procession.

And just before Kristoff, some mountain men.

Everyone was yelling for Kristoff. There are no plans currently for a meet-and-greet with him, this is the only place that guests can find Kristoff in the parks. Anna and Elsa greet guests at Princess Fairytale Hall. Here is our video and a couple of photos!

Kristoff appears a couple of different times in the “Frozen” Sing-Along Celebration. Here is our video of him as he appears the first time, along with some photos! We highly recommend the show if you are in the park.

The Royal Historian likes what she sees!

Anna introduces the show, but Elsa does not appear until the end – along with Anna and Kristoff.

Snow falls at the end of the sing-along, while Kristoff, Anna and Elsa marvel at it. The characters appear together during the finale.

Here is the powerful finale!

We received special parade viewing and a terrific spot for the show with our Frozen Premium Package. It costs $59 for adults, and $34 for children (3-9), and includes an evening dessert party and fireworks viewing. The fireworks viewing itself isn’t great, but we will have a great view of the stage show beforehand. If the desserts and drinks are half as good as the Star Wars Feel the Force Package, it is a bargain.

The event (without Premium Package) is FREE with park admission. There is an extra cost for ice skating.

I do wish there were meet-and-greets during this event, it would really complete the festivities. But so far (and the day is more than half over), we are extremely impressed with it!
