6/8/11 Disney’s Art of Animation Resort Overview – Finding Nemo Wings and Feature Pool Take Shape

Hi everyone!

Disney's Art of Animation Resort – still a year from opening – is starting to look more like the artwork presented at D23's Destination D. The front of the building has already been undergoing a paint job, but now we see the start of the paint job on the Finding Nemo section, as well as the feature pool in that area.

I started a new weekly column here, called Denise's Corner! I have my first column up, and it might be Friday night when my second one is posted (I'll be away from the computer for a day or so).

Looking across the lake at the construction of the Disney's Art of Animation Resort, you can see the blue paint job that the Finding Nemo wings are getting. 

 

 

 

 

The Disney artwork that was displayed at D23's Destination D included a map of the placement of the buildings, color schemes and more.  Below you'll see how the Finding Nemo building is going to look on the side facing the Pop Century (the blue paint with black and white characters).
