6/21 Saratoga Springs Paddock Pool Nearly Ready to Open!

Hi everyone!

We paid a visit to Saratoga Springs today to get an update on the pool progress.  It looks great, hopefully all of our DVC readers (including those from the uber-friendly DVC site Mouseowners.com) will enjoy it! 

There is a website I occasionally visit called Designer Land, and the talented owner has designed a shirt that features a tiki with a Dole Whip. The shirt is really cool looking, I just wanted to share the link. Orders are being taken only through this Friday!

It was 98 degrees as a high today (mostly it just felt like a sauna outside!), the pool water looked very inviting as we took photos of it. I have read that the opening day for this new feature pool (one of two feature pools Saratoga Springs will now have) is set for mid-July, though I've not seen an exact date. It is very close to being finished, the slide reminds me of the one at the Fort Wilderness Meadows pool. 

 

 

We have photos from different vantage points, and you'll see that the fencing has holes in it that seem to have been put there for guest viewing. I wish all construction were so easy to view, it's pretty nice to watch progress on projects without having to queue up for rides like Dumbo! 🙂
