Saratoga Springs Paddock Pool Nearly Ready to Open! – June 20th, 2011

Hi everyone!

We paid a visit to Saratoga Springs today to get an update on the pool progress.  It looks great!

It was 98 degrees as a high today (mostly it just felt like a sauna outside!), the pool water looked very inviting as we took photos of it. I have read that the opening day for this new feature pool (one of two feature pools Saratoga Springs will now have) is set for mid-July, though I’ve not seen an exact date. It is very close to being finished, the slide reminds me of the one at the Fort Wilderness Meadows pool. 

We have photos from different vantage points, and you’ll see that the fencing has holes in it that seem to have been put there for guest viewing. I wish all construction were so easy to view, it’s pretty nice to watch progress on projects without having to queue up for rides like Dumbo! 🙂
