The classic Halloween Haunt is back with a vengeance as it takes guests on a dark journey through magical underworlds. For the 42nd year Knott’s Berry Farm will thrill guests with mystifying Halloween mazes, shows and attractions. Starting September 25th through November 1st you can experience new and classic frights at the Granddaddy of all haunted theme parks, Knott’s Scary Farm.
This year there’ll be ten mazes, four scare zones and two shows. Everyone’s favorite Mistress of the Dark, Elvira returns to scare up campy fun in her all new show; “Elvira’s Big Top.” She hosts a circus of carnival macabre freaks and sinister side show acts. The show also features explosive dance performances by The Academy of Villains, fresh from Fox’s “So You Think You Can Dance.”
Adding to the thrills and chills for 2014 are three exciting new mazes and an interactive zombie game that puts you in the middle of the action. Armed with weapons, you become the warrior out to battle the evil zombies.
Back again are the secret skeleton rooms available only to guests who purchase this extra chilling experience. And, for those who want the nightmares night after night, there’s a special Scary Farm pass available to season pass holders for $65.00 while supplies last.
This year’s frightening mazes include; Voodoo, The Tooth Fairy, Trapped: Lock & Key, Black Magic, Forevermore, The Gunslingers Grave, Trick or Treat, Pinocchio Unstrung, Dominion of the Damned and The Witches Keep. (We’ll be sharing details and pictures next month of our favorite mazes.)
With returning and exciting new mazes, this year’s event promises to bring frights and delights sure to thrill every haunted Halloween fan; “Dead or Alive!”
