In Mousesteps Weekly #131, we talk about:
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, where the Silver Creek Springs Pool work is finally complete, including a water play area/splash pad for children. There is a fence surrounding the pool, and the new water play area is wilderness themed.
The hub construction at the Magic Kingdom, which is beginning to really take shape. The backstage bypass also has been given a more “onstage” look to it.
The Sorcerer’s Hat at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The footage we took is from a couple of days before it closed. We are looking forward to seeing the Chinese Theater again down Hollywood Blvd.! We talk about the origin of the hat.
While at Disney’s Hollywood studios, we enjoyed the last showings of the Comedy Warehouse, along with the last Osborne Lights for the season.
Our final stop is to Rock & Brews in Oviedo, where we were invited to the ribbon cutting for the first East Coast location. Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley helped found the restaurant, and we had the opportunity to interview them. 100 veterans were invited to this special luncheon!
