Disney Park and Resort Photo Updates

Disney Springs Photo Update, January 10th, 2016 Including Paddlefish, The Edison, Characters in Flight

Hi everyone!

Here is a quick Disney Springs photo update from yesterday!

Follow Mousesteps on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube and Instagram!

It was still Christmas in Town Center, though the Marketplace no longer had Christmas trees or decorations.

Characters in Flight is down for a few days as it is rethemed (re-opening on January 14th, 2017).

There was no balloon yesterday at all, though today one was brought in.

It will be interesting to see what the changes will be.

Splitsville was closing for a private function.

There was a sign also at the front of the restaurant in addition to by the patio.

We already posted quite a bit about Planet Hollywood last week, and not much has changed there. We took the boat to have some different construction photos.

The Edison still has a sign that says that it is scheduled to open this spring, though the Disney Springs Twitter now says fall. So that is probably the earliest it will open. Originally it was scheduled for 2016.

Here is a look from the back of The Edison. This is the former Adventurers Club location.

This is a look of more of the back.

Here are a couple of more photos of The Edison from the boat.

Planet Hollywood Observatory from another angle. The date for opening has been delayed some, but it is probably just a few weeks away now (the restaurant just had a job fair a few days back).

Paddlefish (formerly Fulton’s Crab House) is getting close. The restaurant was most recently aiming for this month, I’m not sure if it will make that or not – on Facebook the restaurant says “very soon”.

Here is a look at the wheel inside.

Lights can be seen inside the restaurant.

The signage went up a month or two ago.

Back to Paddlefish, here is a look at the paddlewheel.

Another view.

One other view of the Paddlefish restaurant.

And the Edision from the front.

There have been some changes since our last update, but not a lot.

We will be back at Disney Springs soon for Characters in Flight and more.
