Magic Kingdom Christmas Decorations and Merchandise Arrive for 2018

Hi everyone!

Halloween has been replaced by Christmas decorations at the Magic Kingdom – not all are up yet, but a lot is – still missing is the garland replacement decor, the main Christmas tree and the two trees that Photopass uses for photos in Town Square. But almost everything else is up, including the trees on the Rockettower Plaza Stage for A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas. I will be adding more as it goes up! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party kicks off on November 8th, 2018 – this will be the 12th year we will be posting about it. Look for both a photo article and a tips article after the second Party on the 9th (we will be at both). We’ll also have a Mousesteps Weekly Show all about the Party! Here are photos from November 1st and November 2nd as decorations are added – also I have some merchandise photos as well.

Today a new Mickey floral was installed – it is different this year, it looks like a wreath with ornaments. I really like it.

The clouds were gorgeous above the train station!

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party signage is up.

Town Square is looking festive. Candy Cane Lane signs went up today, but aren’t in this photo.

Here is the welcome sign from today.

City Hall.

Today the toy soldiers were added – they always make for fun photos. Chip and Dale were meeting behind them here.

There are a variey of different decorations as always, including these with bells.

The Main Street Emporium has all windows decorated for the holidays.

These decorations always remind me of dog ears.

The pair of Emporium windows on Main Street don’t have characters as they have in the past, but merchandise and trees.

There is a lot of Christmas merchandise and some displays inside the Emporium.

Donald Duck is wearing his winter gear.

Minnie Mouse sweater – I am not posting a ton of merchandise or prices because you can find most of it for purchase on ShopDisney. That is an affiliate link as well.

Here is our merchandise video and then more pictures.

Pluto.

Hand towels.

Let’s Sleigh This Holiday dinnerwear. I do like the classic Mickey style the best.

A variety of items for the kitchen, including mugs and potholders.

A Tiki Room ornament.

There are some fun t-shirts.

I’m just here for the holiday snacks.

Poinsettia plants hang from this pole.

Cinderella Castle is ready for the first lighting of “A Frozen Holiday Wish” for 2018.

Poinsettias make up this tree.

There is another tree to the right next to the Crystal Palace.

A wreath with Cinderella Castle in view.

The Main Street Philharmonic was out.

Layers of the hub and Tomorrowland.

This year, the Pluto popcorn holiday bucket has a different sweater. For $15.50 with popcorn it is a reasonably priced and fun souvenir.

A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas is getting ready for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Jingle Cruise is back.

Decorations on and around Casey’s Corner.

Huey, Dewey and Louie are dressed for Christmas in the Confectionery windows, I think these are different than previous costumes. Daisy is not yet in the windows.

Confectionery decorations.

The Chapeau.

The train station is always nicely decorated.

There are two trees up here again.

On November 1st, 2018, the toy soldiers were not yet out.

Today, the last of the Halloween plants were gone and the toy soldiers created a more festive Town Square atmosphere.
