Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival Merchandise Preview Including Violet Lemonade Spirit Jersey and More

Hi everyone!

We were invited to a media preview for the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival, which is my favorite event during my favorite time of year at Walt Disney World. I am posting about different aspects of that preview, and one of the more popular elements to the Festival is the merchandise. We spoke to Will Dasso, Guest Experience Manager for Merchandise about the variety of items available – the merchandise is in five different “stories” as per Dasso. I photographed a small amount of items and we have video of Dasso talking about what is on the table as well as the Figment “Let Your Imagination Grow Wild” collection.

In this photo, you can see one of two Festival spirit jerseys – this one for “Minnie’s Garden Party” and one item is a Loungefly waist pack that Dasso specifically notes in our video below.

Here is our 6-minute video with Will Dasso that goes over a lot of what is on the table and the Figment collection that was not available for the preview.

One of the collections is Violet Lemonade themed, with the tagline “Put a Little Zest in your Fest”. The big sellers here will probably be the spirit jersey and ear headband.

There are three LE MagicBands for the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. This one is part of the “Mickey’s Garden Shed” merchandise grouping. This collection is geared a little more toward men, though I tend more toward these colors and the mens cut shirts.

These are items from that collection.

I do like the mint green color on this LE 2000 MagicBand, from the “Happiness Blooms From Within” grouping. This arrives April 11th.

Minnie Mouse is a plush nearby.

Spikes Pollen Nation Exploration is back this year, it’s a fun scavenger hunt (there will also be the Egg-stravaganza hunt again in April) and costs only $6.99 plus tax. The patches are the prize here, you get to choose one set! The fun thing is, you can just buy all four sets with the scavenger hunt boards if you really want them. Spike the Bee also has his own merchandise (with Donald Duck), including a shirt. It is nice to see a fairly obscure Disney character (from cartoons) becoming a mainstay of the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.

Walt Disney World Annual Passholders will be happy with the merchandise this year, it includes these four mugs – Figment and Donald will be available from the start of the Festival, and Minnie and Goofy will be available on April 11th.

We have so much more to share from the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival and we’ll be at opening day on March 6th, 2019! Definitely check out the festival, it is really an incredible event. This is our 13th year covering it and I spend a lot of time in the few weeks before the Festival visiting to see what new flowers and topiaries have arrived.
