Teaser Video for Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Opening on March 4th, 2020
Hi everyone!
Disney provided us with a teaser video for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, which opens on March 4th, 2020! It is hard to believe were are just days away. Remember that Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway is on Fastpass+. I have heard the ride compared with Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin that is at Disneyland, and this short video reminds me of it. The attraction is in the Chinese Theater at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where The Great Movie Ride used to be.
Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway is based on the current Mickey Mouse cartoon shorts, and is a brand-new attraction unique to Walt Disney World at Disney’s Hollywood Studios (although it will be at Disneyland eventually as well). It is also the first ride at any Disney park to feature Mickey Mouse and friends AND Disney says it will have more hidden Mickeys than any other Disney attraction or area in the world. So keep an eye out during the ride!

Disney says of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, With a new original story and lovable attraction theme song, this new state-of-the-art ride-through attraction will take guests on a journey inside the wacky and unpredictable world of Disney Channel’s Emmy Award-winning “Mickey Mouse” cartoon shorts. Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway will feature a new Imagineering-generated story and a new singable and lovable attraction theme song as well as a new experience we’re calling “2 1/2 D.” No glasses required.

I can’t wait to ride! So far all of the Cast Member comments I have heard from previews have been positive.
