In the past 6 weeks, we’ve been sharing the socially/physically distanced meets and character experiences around Walt Disney World. While we’d seen Alice in Epcot behind the United Kingdom pavilion, we kept missing Mary Poppins in the same location until a bit over a week ago. Alice and Mary Poppins alternate just as Pooh and Joy do in Future World. There are no scheduled times.
This photo was taken when Alice was there, we have an article from a few weeks back of her meet and greet.
Here is our video of Mary Poppins followed by photos.
Mary Poppins talks to guests and poses with them from a little distance. This gazebo is normally used for bands (during normal times) and Mary has usually met nearby.
Mary Poppins holds up her parasol.
She talks with guests.
This is a really nice meet location for guests to see Mary Poppins and/or Alice.
This is often a quiet location, not all shops are currently open so fewer guests are being drawn to the back of the pavilion (although Tea Caddy and The Queen’s Table, etc. are).
Mary takes a look at the parrot at the end of the parasol.
Epcot has a number of character encounters throughout the park, including these meet and greets and also several cavalcades. Each park has unique offerings that you can find throughout the day.
