Santa Claus Greets Epcot Guests in “Santa Claus Promenade” Cavalcade Through December 24th, 2020 (Photos, Video)

Hi everyone –

Santa Claus greets Epcot guests from a cavalcade this year called Santa Claus Promenade! Instead of the standard meet and greet that he would usually have with Mrs. Claus at the American Adventure pavilion, he travels around World Showcase as part of Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Holidays through December 24th, 2020.

Performers with ribbons walk ahead of Santa’s horse and carriage.

Two horses pull the carriage Santa is on.

Santa can be seen. He is physically distanced from guests, with a Christmas tree and other decorations.

Here is our video from yesterday.

There are no times listed on the schedule to keep guests from gathering.

Santa waves while a stuffed bear sits next to him.

It was a chilly day and the sky was a beautiful blue.

His carriage is also decorated with Nutcracker soldiers and garland.

Here is one last look at the carriage.

Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Holidays is scheduled to run through December 31st, 2020. The event includes several holiday cavalcades; Christmas decorations and food; some entertainment through the park including Voices of Liberty and Joyful! as well as Living with the Land: Merry and Bright Nights. Joy and Pooh also are a little more festive than usual in a distanced experience at the Imagination Pavilion.
