Disneyland Shares “First Time in Forever” Video as Parks Reopen This Week

The Disneyland Resort is reopening the Disneyland and Disney California parks this week after what really does feel like the first time in forever – I was at the Disneyland Resort in early March 2020 and wasn’t expecting the parks to close days later. Disney released a short TikTok video that they also added to YouTube set to the song “For the First Time in Forever” with Cast Members on Main Street U.S.A.

Last night, there was also a short presentation online where Disneyland reawakened Sleeping Beauty Castle. The video replay is below. Today there is a Cast Member preview of the parks and later this week – on April 30th – both parks will officially reopen. We will have one of our California reporters at Disney California Adventure on Friday (and the following week at Disneyland park).

It is really exciting to see Disneyland Resort reopening and I’m hoping we’ll be back there sometime this summer.
