Meeting Jack and Sally at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party for 2022 Season (Photos, Video)

Hi everyone!

Jack and Sally made their return to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party yesterday as the 2022 season kicked off. Since the pair from “The Nightmare Before Christmas” first started appearing at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in 2013, they’ve been certainly the most popular meet and greet. And it’s interesting to note, in 2013 the party nights started on September 10th (this year, August 12th!)

When we arrived to the Magic Kingdom yesterday around 4:30 p.m., the wait for Jack and Sally was quoted at about 2 hours. A Cast Member said the line formed beginning at 4:00 p.m. in Town Square Theater (party guests are able to arrive at that time with their ticket, the event officially starts at 7:00 p.m.), and that the pair started meeting at 4:30 p.m. for party guests. This is much earlier than the official party start time, but they’ve met early prior to this as well. Town Square Theater is definitely better to hold a lot of guests than other locations where they’ve met before.

Most characters do not start meeting early. If you want to meet Jack and Sally, I recommend arriving early and confirming the start time.

We were going to wait until Tuesday to meet them (we have tickets for that night too), but then unexpected thunderstorms arrived so we went inside from the location we’d planned to watch Mickey’s Boo-to-You Parade from. The quoted time to us upon arriving was 45 minutes, but it ended up being an hour and a half with the line building quickly behind us.

There are several different areas that guests will move through on the way to the meet and greet. From the time we moved past the first rope, we had about a half hour of waiting to go.

There are themed banners of characters from “Nightmare Before Christmas”.

Jack and Sally are always a fantastic meet and greet, and I’m glad we have both meeting here together (for example, in Paris the last number of years it has been Jack meeting on his own). The do spend quality time with each party but don’t sign autographs – there is an autograph card as has been given out each year (I show the card at the end of the article).

Here is our video, followed by a few photos of Jack and Sally.

This is the autograph card that is handed out. The cards used to be dated with the party year, but that changed a few years back. It is a nice souvenir.

I definitely recommend visiting Jack and Sally if you are a fan and have the opportunity! Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party runs on select nights through October 31st, 2022 and is a separately ticketed event.
