Flower Quilt Being Readied for EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival 2023

 Hi everyone!

The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival returns on March 1st, 2023, and the first sign of the event always is the main flower quilt. Several outlines show what and where the floral shapes will be, and it won’t be long until flowers are installed! This is my favorite event at Walt Disney World and I love watching the process each year.

Here is a look from this morning!

Mickey’s head is one of several shapes we can see so far.

One Minnie head is also ready to be in flower form.

The other shape is a flower.

The rest of the area is mostly dirt right now.

The secondary flower quilt (closer to Test Track) looks like it is being readied as well.

The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival runs from March 1st – July 5th, 2023! I always spend a lot of time before the festival at EPCOT as the flowers and topiaries are added.
