Disney Park and Resort Photo Updates

Photos: Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort DVC Tower Construction from June 21st, 2023

Hi everyone!

I took a boat yesterday for some photos of the Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort DVC tower construction. I didn’t end up adding in the monorail because I ran out of time (but I will photograph from it next week). The tower is scheduled to open in late 2024.

Here are photos of the Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort DVC tower construction from yesterday!

The tower can be seen beyond the Tuvalu longhouse.

We had a lot of stormy weather yesterday, but workers were at the site in between the rainy weather bands.

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort DVC tower has progressed a lot since my last post in May about it. There is a lot of blue tarp at the various rooms.

The proposed plans for the Disney Vacation Club tower at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort would offer additional rooms, new recreation offerings and dining options.

Here is a look at one side.

Pieces were being added to the building by a crane, seen here beyond Disney’s Wedding Pavilion at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.

And here is a look from a bit higher up, on the monorail to Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

Sometime next week I plan to take the monorail the full way around (we had a last-minute reservation for Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge). I was able to photograph the EPCOT construction, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort construction and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort DVC tower by that time and will be posting everything today.
