La Tanière du Dragon Now Closed for Refurbishment Through October 21st, 2023 at Disneyland Paris

La Tanière du Dragon – The Dragon’s Lair beneath Sleeping Beauty Castle – is closed for refurbishment from now until it reopens on October 21st, 2023.  We are currently at Disneyland Paris and I didn’t realize it would close during our trip. We passed by it a few times but hadn’t gone inside yet during this visit and lost the opportunity. The attraction last was closed for refurbishment from May into July 2023.

The entrance now has a wall, with a sign letting guests know it is closed. Jeff took these photos yesterday.

La Tanière du Dragon is being refurbished for your future enjoyment.

We usually stop in to see the dragon at least once each trip. It really is a must-see when it is open.

Disneyland Paris says of La Tanière du Dragon:

Tip-toe through the dark dungeon “La Tanière du Dragon” underneath Sleeping Beauty Castle, where a monstrous prisoner lurks. Once the ruler of the skies, this defeated dragon lies chained against jagged rocks. It may be dozing, but tread carefully, as one false move will lead to a hot, rumbling surprise.

We look forward to experiencing La Tanière du Dragon again in January now, as long as it isn’t back in refurbishment again.
