EPCOT CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza Construction Update from January 5th, 2024

Hi everyone!

CommuniCore Hall at EPCOT construction is moving along, we have photos from the ground that I took yesterday (as well as of CommuniCore Plaza). Our last EPCOT update was about 10 days ago from the monorail (we couldn’t get in the park due to our Annual Passes being blocked) and yesterday we only took photos from within the park. It is nice having both angles, although inside the park is almost better now because so many trees block the construction from the monorail.

No date has been given for CommuniCore Hall or CommuniCore Plaza to open.

CommuniCore Hall will be a “flexible exhibition and gallery space, offering a wide variety of experiences that highlight art, live music, food – complete with a demonstration kitchen – and more.” Also there will be a Mickey & Friends meet and greet location.

The panels look inspired by Spaceship Earth and they have been filling in around the building. There is a lot of green visible here, and it looks like some blue (which I’ve not noticed before).

CommuniCore Plaza can be seen in the distance.

CommuniCore Plaza “will have the flexibility to host intimate musical performances that extend out into the nearby gardens, as well as large-scale concerts”.

We walked into World Celebration Gardens for some last photos.

We never made it to the World Nature side, but I will have more photos next Friday on the opening day of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts.
