Disney Village Transformation Continues as Construction Walls Go Up at Disneyland Paris (January 2024)

Hi everyone!

The Disney Village transformation continues at Disneyland Paris, as construction walls are up between the Sports Bar and the LEGO Store. There is a walkway behind these walls so that guests can currently access all of the locations. Disneyland Paris has said about this transformation, “As the next step in this ambitious project, from early 2024 onwards and for a duration of two years, all the shops and facades from Disney Store to Disney Fashion Jr will be progressively modified”.

Here are photos from yesterday!

There are various signs on the walls, including “Pardon Our Pixie Dust”.

Signage points the way, including to the LEGO Store, Disney Fashion and The Disney Gallery.

Disneyland Paris says about this, “The first phase, from early 2024 to the following autumn, will include the transformation of Disney Fashion, Disney Fashion Jr, and The Disney Gallery. These shops, which will benefit from large, transparent windows to make them more visible from the main promenade, will be completely remodelled inside. Once completed, the shops will feature new shopping concepts such as Fashion & Lifestyle, Home Décor, Disney Art & Collectibles, and the major Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars franchises.”

More signs are shown for Starbucks, McDonald’s and the Rainforest Café.

“We imagine the new Disney Village”.

The sign is also in English.

More directional signs include to Parcs Disney and Gare TGV,  Train RER A (into Paris), and parking.

And as we continue down the walls, they point to LEGO Store, Rosalie, Earl of Sandwich and the Disneyland Paris hotels around Lake Disney.

Here is a look back.

This wall ends here at the LEGO store.

There is another wall at Disney Fashion.

And as I walked to Rosalie, this is the view from near the Rainforest Café.

Here is a look behind the walls, near the Sports Bar and down the corridor.

We have dined a lot at Brasserie Rosalie. It is a beautiful restaurant outside and inside, with excellent food. We have enjoyed it often during this trip and will have a review of breakfast, lunch/dinner and the counter location.

What are your thoughts on the transformation/reimagining of Disney Village? I hope the entire village will be as high quality as Brasserie Rosalie is.
