Disneyland Paris

(Photos) Frozen Land Construction Update at Disneyland Paris from January 31st, 2024

On April 12th, it was announced that the Frozen land coming to Walt Disney Studios Park will be named World of Frozen. And Walt Disney Studios Park will be renamed Disney Adventure World when it opens!

Hi everyone!

The Frozen land construction inside Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris is moving along, along with the lakeside restaurant and Rapunzel spinner ride! We rode the Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop to take photos from the air on January 31st, 2024 (our last day at Disneyland Paris for this trip). We also have a few photos from the ground. Our last photo update of this area was in September 2023.

First, here are those few photos from the ground as we were walking into the park. I was glad the morning looked nice for photos!

And then we took to the air a few times for a nice selection of photos. You can see the lake (not filled in) and so much that is being built around it.

Not only is the Frozen land being worked on, but so is the “Tangled” attraction (which can be seen below in the photos), and an Art Nouveau lakeside restaurant. There will also be a “beautiful promenade surrounded by lush landscape, green walkways and themed gardens”.

The Art Nouveau lakeside restaurant will be table service, and Disney has said there will be character dining.

Here is a look at concept art of the restaurant.

The Kingdom of Arendelle can be seen in the background, and I have a closer look at the various buildings.

The clock tower is to the left, and the colors of the Norwegian-inspired village can be seen. There has been a lot of work done also on Arendelle castle.

Here is a closer look at the clock tower in the upcoming Frozen land.

Rock work can also be seen in the foreground.

A lot has changed since our last set of photos in September. There is no current date (or even year) for the construction to be complete.

Here is a look at Arendelle Castle.

And here are a few more photos of the Frozen land construction at Disneyland Paris.

Are you looking forward to the upcoming Frozen land, Tangled spinner ride, and lakeside restaurant (and lake!) in Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris?

There is a lot of work still to be completed. I hope it will be open sometime in 2025 as opposed to 2026, but we will keep you updated when we have more information. It will probably be many months before I have the chance to take more photos.
