Disney Park and Resort Photo Updates

TRON Photos from Different Angles Inside and Outside Magic Kingdom on December 10th, 2020

Hi everyone!

I took some photos of the TRON canopy construction from outside and inside the Magic Kingdom a couple of days ago. It is always interesting to photograph it from outside of the park in particular, as walking to Disney’s Grand Floridian from the TTC offers a unique view (like below, with the monorail and boat in the photo). There is no announced date (or year) for the opening of the coaster at this time. Here are photos!

This photo was taken next to the Wedding Pavilion.

Here is one last look at it from along the walkway.

I had not previously noticed the canopy while walking on the other side of the hub.

The canopy can be seen beyond the guests in front of me.

We also rode the Astro Orbiter.

Here is a look at the building.

The Wedway People Mover still is closed and there is no reopening date on it.

There are workers to the right hand side.

The Astro Orbiter is one of my favorite places to get a nice view of the construction. We didn’t make it to the Swiss Family Treehouse this visit.

The construction is next to Space Mountain.

The People Mover used to give us a great view of the construction too (and it is normally one of my favorite rides in the Magic Kingdom).

I tried to take a few photos over by Goofy’s Barnstormer, but this area was actually pretty busy.

From over by the Tomorrowland Speedway, here is one more look at the canopy.

I don’t know if we will be back in the Magic Kingdom this month, but I expect to have more photos in early January (including from our usual Goofy’s Barnstormer area and Swiss Family Treehouse views).
