Princess II Suite Photo and Video Tour at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort After “Moana” Theming

Hi everyone!

I was invited to tour the Princess II suite at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort (as well as a “Moana” themed standard room, which I previously posted). The Princess II Suite is 760 square feet and encompasses one bedroom and a living area. There is also a larger two-bedroom version. Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort officially reopened on July 19th, 2021.

The Princess II is in the Tonga building, which is an all-suite longhouse. The “Moana” theming of the suite is much more subtle than the standard room. Even though I’ve been visiting Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort since 1977, I believe this is my first time in the Tonga longhouse. It is right off of the Great Ceremonial House and smaller than a traditional longhouse.

Here is our video and then photos.

There is “Moana” artwork in the hallway before entering the suite.

Maui.

Hei Hei.

Gramma Tala.

Here is a look at the hallway carpet.

The living area offers a color palate consisting of greens and browns.

There is artwork on the walls in the entrance to the suite. Hei Hei can be seen in this one.

Pua is to the left, and I think Maui as an iguana to the right.

I mentioned that the theming here is much more subtle. There are just a few obvious nods to “Moana” like in the artwork I just showed.

The fish art on the wall has the “Moana” patterns.

I turned the photo sideways.

This is a wider shot of the living area, which includes a sofa and chairs.

A television hangs from the wall.

There is a Magic Kingdom view from the balcony.

Cinderella Castle can be seen peeking above the trees in the distance.

The lamp post is unique.

A microwave and Nespresso machine are in the suite, along with a small sink. The green tile is very nice here.

A mini-fridge is below – it is the same size as in the standard rooms.

The bedroom has similar colors.

A chair is next to the drawers.

Flowers are in the artwork above the beds.

Moana can be seen.

And check out the hidden Mickey!

A second TV  is located here.

Outside of the bathroom is a large sitting area with closet space and a bathrobe with slippers.

In the bathroom there are H20 products.

The shower has tile that looks to be a similar green as in the wet bar area.

It is nice to see Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort officially open!
