Marketplace Co Op Opens at Downtown Disney (Photos, Video)

Hi everyone!

The Marketplace Co Op opened in what is the former Team Mickey location at Downtown Disney (soon to be Disney Springs), connected between Trend-E and Guest Relations at the Marketplace.

There are 6 different stores under one roof. The location reminds me of a shopping arcade, with plenty of room for walking in the center (but the stores can get very busy, especially Centerpiece). The shops are Centerpiece, Zoey and Pickles, Cherry Tree Lane, The Trophy Room, D-Tech on Demand and Beautifully Disney.

This is the walkway in between the shops.

Here is our video of the Co Op!

By far, Centerpiece is our favorite store.

Much of what is sold here is vintage-look Disney merchandise. This Mr. Toad figure holds up a plate.

Aloha Isle hurricane glasses.

Enchanted Tiki Room glasses.

There are a number of Orange Bird items, including the bowls and Orange Bird figure.

I like the Orange Bird pitcher.

Some of the items are already found in the parks, like most of this wall – the Goofy and Donald merchandise can be found in the Italy pavilion at Epcot.

This Tiki Room pillow is nice, but many pillows here are not heavy duty. I wouldn’t have it around a cat with claws, or a playful puppy.

I really like the plates, including this one featuring Adventureland.

Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride glass.

Salt and pepper shakers themed to the various lands.

We’ve seen many of these signs at the Art of Disney.

More plates include Adventureland, Enchanted Tiki Room, Splash Mountain, and the Disneyland Railroad.

There are a variety of mugs available.

Coasters include 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, The Jungle Cruise, and Space Mountain.

Adventureland glasses.

These tiki statues have been available at Walt Disney World for nearly a year.

I love all the different plates.

The store was a bit crowded while we were there.

Here are window displays showing some of the merchandise – not all of it is currently in stock.

We didn’t see a sign inside for Cherry Tree Lane, which offers Dooney & Bourke and Vera Bradley bags, along with assorted jewelry and accessories.

Beautifully Disney offers makeup and accessories.

D-Tech on Demand was quite busy as well, with guests personalizing their phone cases (including phone case themes with Elsa, Olaf, Mickey, Tinker Bell and much more).

Zoey and Pickles offers merchandise for girls, including shirts, sneakers and accessories.

There is a dressing room in the store.

The Trophy Room carries sports merchandise, similar to what Team Mickey carried – but much less.

There wasn’t as much Disney merchandise here, but guests can find Boston Red Sox and Yankees hats and shirts.

Which is your favorite store? We look forward to picking up a few items in Centerpiece!
