Hi everyone!

In Mousesteps Weekly #141, we talk about Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto; Disney’s Polynesian Resort DVC; Disney’s Contemporary Resort Easter Egg Display (the first one ever where all eggs were grouped together) and the Skeletons Museum! Watch the show and then read the show notes below for more information.

In Mousesteps Weekly #141, we talk:

Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto, which soft opened on March 28th. We waited 5 hours to get into this new 50 seat bar that is as good as its West Coast counterpart. We talk about the drinks, the food, the atmosphere, merchandise and effects! Some of the nods to Walt Disney World include a life preserver from the former Maelstrom attraction and a small Orange Bird.

Next, we share a look around the resort, including the newly opened Sunset Point. It is similar to the former Sunset Point except for the Bungalow views. Jeff visits a DVC bungalow, talking about his walk-through, and we take a look in the lobby of the Moorea DVC building.

Disney’s Contemporary Resort is the setting for a Chocolate Easter Egg display this year! Usually the eggs are scattered about the resort, but this year they are all together (and we think more eggs than usual). There are about 25 eggs here, including Frozen Fever, Baymax and Star Wars themed.

We were invited to preview Skeletons: Animals Unveiled at I-Drive 360. It is scheduled to open in a few weeks, and skeletons were being set up (and in some cases, delivered). This will be an educational experience for guests, as well as a fun attraction in the shadow of the Orlando Eye.

Recorded 04/04/15 Featuring Commentary from Denise Preskitt and Jeff Lange.
