Zootopia’s Nick Wilde & Judy Hopps Debut in Move It! Shake It! Dance & Play It! at Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney World
Hi everyone!
Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps from Disney’s Zootopia debuted today in the Move It! Shake It! Dance & Play It! street party at the Magic Kingdom. While I had the chance to meet them last month during a private event at Disney’s Animal Kingdom park, this is their first public outing at Walt Disney World. I hope they eventually become meet and greet characters here as well, as they are beginning today at the Disneyland Resort. But it was nice to see them out for guests to enjoy at Walt Disney World!

We weren’t sure where Nick and Judy would be in the parade, but it turns out that they were on the back of the Chip and Dale float.
This was my first look at them in the Magic Kingdom. There has been a lot of interest in the Zootopia characters, and I don’t think most guests realized they’d be there today.

Nick and Judy did come off the float, but didn’t move away from it.
You can see a large crowd gathered for them. It looks more daunting than it was, I didn’t have a problem getting quick to the front for some photos.

I think this will be a busier experience once guests realize they are here. But the street party does play several times per day, so there is more than one opportunity to see them.
