TRON Construction Update at the Magic Kingdom – October 29th, 2019

Hi everyone!

I stopped at the Magic Kingdom today for a short visit and checked out the TRON construction while I was there. There is exterior track now! All of the photos and video below are from the People Mover. TRON is scheduled to open in time for Walt Disney World’s 50th in 2021.

I first took a couple of photos on the walk from Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Even though I have been watching it being built, it really just seems so big now.

You can see the track from the People Mover as it leaves the station and heads past Space Mountain.

And the rest of the photos are passing by construction on the way to Space Mountain (and on the way out).
