Most of Splash Mountain Tree Now Gone at Magic Kingdom as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Work Continues

Hi everyone!

We were at the Magic Kingdom yesterday for the Easter Pre-Parade, and took a look at the work going on at the former Splash Mountain as it becomes Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. The tree at the top of the mountain is just about gone now. Even with it being Easter weekend, work was ongoing on the site. Disney has said that later this summer, the tiara-topped water tower with the Tiana’s Foods logo will make its way here.

Here are photos from yesterday!

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is scheduled to open in late 2024 at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland. The attraction is inspired by the story and characters from “The Princess and the Frog”, picking up where that story left off.

Disney has said about Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, “Walt Disney Imagineering is creating an original, next chapter story for Tiana. Within the attraction queue, guests will discover that she continues to grow her business with Tiana’s Foods – an employee-owned cooperative. Combining her talents with those of the local community, Tiana has transformed an aging salt mine and built a beloved brand.”
