In Mousesteps Weekly show #493, we talk about Disney’s Animal Kingdom Holidays and Christmas at Gaylord Palms (which we were hosted for again, and includes ICE! and other activities).

In Mousesteps Weekly #493, we talk about the following topics:

We rope dropped Disney’s Animal Kingdom park to check out the holiday activities and entertainment. One of our favorite parts of Walt Disney World holidays is the interactibe Merry Menagerie, which is live-size puppets with performers.

The festive flotillas feature Scrooge McDuck and Launchpad McQuack; Goofy and Pluto; as well as Santa Claus himself! We also see Pocahontas with Meeko.

We also look at some of the decorations, mostly the big Christmas tree.

Our second segment features Christmas at Gaylord Palms, which runs through January 3rd, 2024. We were invited again this year and share a look at ICE! featuring “A Charlie Brown Christmas”, which includes 2 million pounds of ice carved by artisans from Harbin, China telling the classic story. There is a newly redesigned ice slide room this year as well.

The guest room we were given looked out on the 60-foot Christmas tree and stage, where we watched shows (we also viewed Cirque: Spirit of Christmas from below). There is a lot more to see and do (much of it ticketed), including Snowball Build & Blast as well as Snow Flow Mountain ice tubing and more!
