Epcot to Disney’s Hollywood Studios Photo Walk 2021 via the Walt Disney World BoardWalk (140+ Photos)

Today I am posting an update of my Epcot to Disney’s Hollywood Studios photo walk for 2021. I have one photo walk posted this year (Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to Disney’s Contemporary Resort via the new Grand Floridian path) and several in the works to post over the next 3 weeks. I hadn’t planned to post another Epcot to Disney’s Hollywood Studios photo walk so soon since I posted one in 2020 but a few things have changed. This photo walk is on 2 pages. This is one of my favorite walks on Walt Disney World property. This walk is on 2 pages.
Here is a look at the International Gateway from what is open at the France expansion that will include Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure later this year. I love the rats in the fence.

The International Gateway is in between France and the United Kingdom in Epcot.
The sign mentions Friendship Boats, Disney Skyliner and Epcot Resorts. Disney’s Hollywood Studios is also this way.
We are walking down toward the exit. The International Gateway is busier than it used to be due to the Disney Skyliner bringing guests from a number of resorts.
Guests can shop or rent ECV’s here at the World Traveler store.
There are ticket booths at this entrance and a Guest Relations office.
The Disney Skyliner is my favorite mode of transportation right now except for walking. You can ride it to Disney’s Hollywood Studios also but guests have to switch lines at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. Depending on the time of day, that can take a while to get onto another gondola.
We are walking toward and past the Disney Skyliner.
I usually time my photo walks after photographing them (walking twice). I timed this walk last year so I’m just going to use those times to show how long it takes me. I am starting here at 8:15 a.m.
Looking back, we can see the France pavilion.
Ahead are the gates for Epcot.
To the left there is a second way to walk along the water to the bridge.
New this year are distanced markers in a variety of areas to keep guests 6 feet or so apart due to the pandemic.
We are walking up the hill toward the bridge.
Arriving at 8:17 a.m. before turning.
We are turning left toward Disney’s BoardWalk Resort.
The Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort can be seen along with the Atlantic Dance Hall. The upcoming Swan Reserve is also in the distance. The Swan Reserve is part of the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin and is scheduled to open in summer 2021.
We are walking along the bridge.
One thing we don’t see this year – surrey bike traffic. Those have not returned yet to the BoardWalk since the parks and resorts reopened.
The Walt Disney World Yacht and Beach Club Resorts can be seen from the walk.
We are heading off the bridge.
The sign mentions the BoardWalk and dining/shopping but not Disney’s Hollywood Studios yet.
Various resorts can be seen through the trees as we walk.
A Friendship Boat can be seen between Disney’s Yacht Club Resort and the Walt Disney World Dolphin here. The boats run between Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios and stop at the resorts around Crescent Lake. It takes about a half hour or so from park to park.
Sea Breeze Point is on the right hand side.
Sea Breeze Point is a location that is very popular for weddings although there are less events right now.
The location has beautiful views of and across Crescent Lake. And the moon in these photos.
We are walking through the space.
The plants here evoke the sea.

We are heading out of Sea Breeze Point.
The BoardWalk is ahead.
The ESPN Club is a location that has not yet reopened from the pandemic closure. There are quite a few restaurants and shops across property that have not reopened yet but locations are reopening fairly regularly now.
The views are great along the walk. 
The signage here changed over a year ago to ACCN ESPN.
The ESPN Club sits next to the former Ample Hills Creamery. We are arriving here at 8:21 a.m.
The familiar hand with the barbell sits atop the ESPN Club.
This was a disappointing closure. Ample Hills Creamery had opened in spring 2016 and won’t reopen again – nor will there be a Disney Springs location. It had great ice cream and fun decor.
Guests can still have photo strips made.
The BoardWalk Bakery reopened last June with the DVC section of the resort. Disney’s BoardWalk Inn is not yet reopened. Ahead is BoardWalk Joe’s Marvelous Margaritas. The Walt Disney World website shows it as reopening on April 8th.
There is plenty of outdoor seating.
The BoardWalk Bakery has terrific sandwiches and desserts.
“Hue G Krozont” is proprieter.
There are benches nearby.
Disney’s BoardWalk is noted on the benches.
There are occasional A-Frames for maintaining physical distancing or for other health and safety reminders.
The Pizza Window has been here for a long time, through several restaurant changes. I don’t pick up pizza often here now since there are better options (like Via Napoli at Epcot) but it is fine in a pinch.
Trattoria al Forno moved in here in 2014, replacing Kouzzina by Cat Cora (which had replaced Spoodles in 2009).
Next door is AbracadaBAR.
The entrance to Disney’s BoardWalk Resort (from this side) would be to the left.
The Flying Fish has not reopened yet. This is a Signature Dining location that has been popular for as long as I can remember.
I didn’t see many informational A-Frames out during my walk for closed locations, but there was a sign saying The Flying Fish is currently closed.
We are still walking along the BoardWalk.
Pressed pennies can be found here.
Currently they include Juggling Goofy and a lot of Mickey (one with Minnie).
I always show the surrey bikes in my BoardWalk photo walks – but unfortunately, they aren’t being rented again yet as of this writing. Through this location is the green outside the lobby entrance to Disney’s BoardWalk Resort.
The sign for pricing is still up.
A clown shows how tall you must be to pedal the bike. Last year, the clown disappeared from the slide at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort Luna Park pool and now the pool is themed to Mickey and friends.
Guests can choose to take a boat to Epcot or Disney’s Hollywood Studios instead of walking.

There is a funnel cake location here.
An A-Frame lists the types of masks that can be worn.
We are walking past the main shops here.
The Screen Door General Store anchors several shops that are connected inside.
Guests can pick up sundry items here including snacks and refrigerated items.
Next up is Character Carnival.
And then Thimbles and Threads. Once the General Store ends, there is a lot of apparel and other Disney items.
The BoardWalk games are on the other side. I have not seen this area open since the resort reopened.
We are walking still along Crescent Lake on the right hand side.
A health and safety notice is on this trash can.
Big River Grille & Brewing Works had not yet reopened when I photographed the majority of the walk but it reopened a few weeks ago. I am glad to see it back!
